It felt like i went there for a short getaway holiday than a service learning trip.

Day 1 was team building/bonding which i felt wasn't effective at all. It didn't help us know each other. That was about the whole day. My roommate was a really cute girl called Chun Ai but we only slept together on the first night hahaha. Frank stayed to talk with me and Weitian (who crashed earlier) until 2am plus before we turned in.
Day 2 was also the only day i managed to grab a little for breakfast. Those five mornings with Weitian (who i slept with everyday) were like war i swear. This girl can say, "I'm awake, i'm awake!" and then snore away 5 seconds later. She doesn't even recall waking up in between! Main activity of the day was to recce at the orphanages followed by shopping for the items we need for the activities planned.
At night i dreamt that i was having a stomachache. Then i woke up and realised the pain was real. Okay i'm such a joke hahaha. Guess it was food poisoning because Kenny, Darryl and Dr Bandoy experienced the same thing. So we went to the hospital and i had to be put on drip because i had low blood pressure. Why do i get low blood pressure so easily hahaha weak girl is weak. But all was well after a whole day of nuaing in the hotel. Many thanks to Ming and Wida for taking care of me! My angel(Izzati) was so sweet to give me socks too! Wore it to sleep to keep me warm heheh.
I was supposed to be teaching the kids arts and crafts but sadly i was down so i missed that opportunity. Regretful yes it was, but what to do? Blame my body for being so lousy. On a side note, i lost 3kg after i returned so yay!

Day 4 was a good day spent at Care Haven orphanage. Would be even better if i didn't have cramps. Threw a birthday party for the kids, gave out balloon sculptures and toys and set up photo lines along the window and staircase. I didn't interact much with the kids, did more background work than front line which i think suits me more anyway. Hope all the kids had fun and enjoyed our company for that little while! To be honest, i felt like i didn't do anything for them at all. Wished we had more time at the orphanage.
Cultural night. Some kids from Care Haven came over and the older guys performed a hiphop dance for us. Woah they are damn cool man i tell you, they really are. Salute/screams/everything. Everybody was supposed to showcase something too but because the time given for preparation was so short, my group resorted to doing gwiyomi on stage; something i will never ever do again. Had a great karaoke session after the dinner too!
Back to our rooms and we started printing photos that we wanted because there was extra film. This explains the pictures here in this post. It was late and i was to lazy to scroll through Frank's laptop for more photos that i wanted so i only printed 3.
Legoland with awesome people
Day 5 and 6 are all fun and games. Most of the time was spent travelling but that's alright because i've always liked busing anyway. Went for a fruit farm tour in Desaru in the morning and i bought a small bottle of honey back. Whoop honey! Next up was Legoland! The time we had was way too short. Didn't manage to sit all the rides, or even explore the whole theme park. Missed the 4D movie experience sadly. I like 4D stuff (not the gambling 4D, just to explain myself). Thrill level was rather low but still alright overall! More of fun than scary.
Didn't want to sleep on the last night actually but everyone crashed so i slept for a couple of hours too. And poof, i'm back in Singapore. Got to thank my Grandfather who drove me and my luggage home! He saved me from looking like a joke on the bus hahaha. Desmond came over with lunch after that but poor him had to bear the few hours that i slept because my eyes failed to remain open when we tried to watch running man the first time. Managed to watch it the second time when i was really awake hahaha. It was good to see him again.
Went back to school for diploma plus today. Still quite easy to grasp at the moment. Well, of course, it's only the first few lessons. Should have just opted to take the quiz earlier on but nevermind. Basketball and netball tomorrow and diploma plus again on Friday. I'm going to school almost as often despite it being the holidays. Me and my commitments. Nah i don't think i can afford to work with this schedule. I don't want to overwork myself anymore. Later low blood pressure and faint. Okay just kidding. The truth is i'm starting to become lazy and just want to nua at home. This is a bad sign.
