No idea why i agreed to train back to Kovan for dinner when we could have eaten at Compass Point. Met Shuli at the netball court before we left too! It was good to see her again after so long since i missed the netball bonding camp earlier this month.
Afternoon badminton
Met up with this bunch of old friends for a 2 hour badminton session on Saturday. It was fun although they kept mocking my tiny coverage area when we play doubles HAHAHA. They came over to my house to shower before we had hokkien mee at the coffeeshop near Xinmin. We were all craving for kekoumian but the stall wasn't going to open until another 30 minutes later and we were too hungry to wait so we made do. Record breaking time of having my breakfast at 5pm HAHAHA.
Shuhui came over to fetch me afterwards and we made our way to AMK hub to meet Yihui. He's so nice yay. Shopped at the Sportslink outlet at AMK Town Centre before we watch Poltergeist. And i bought another sports bra yay again. It's a nice tweed shade of red HAHAHA. Okay moving on. Yihui bought me a Rilakkuma phone cover from Hongkong! It's so cute i love it heheh. Shuhui sent me over to Hougang area afterwards where i met up with the guys that just did shopping for our sleepover HAHAHA.
And i'm never going to drink that much again because i look effing ugly with my face all red. Even though i wasn't drunk, i'm not going to let myself look that ugly again. No joke. But it was funny when they started getting high and all messing around with the drunk ones. Can't wait for Batam or wherever! Always my favourite bunch of guys. We had mac breakfast the next morning before we left for home.
Somewhere near her estate
Met up with Vivien over our 1-for-1 lunch at Ice Edge Cafe on Monday. It was a good catch up after not seeing her for more than a year and good reminiscing about secondary school times too. We had icecream after that! And i absolutely love the Earl Grey flavour HAHAHA. (yes again) We walked over to her place (as seen in the picture above) for her to change to her slippers and she walked me back home. Thank you for the time spent together! We had a good chat. And i need to learn more adjectives other than good. How did i even get A1 for 'O' Levels LOL.
Tuesday was spent watching South Park at home. Met Jolene in the evening to make our way over to Eunos for netball. We were supposed to help train her team to prepare for a competition at Malacca in September and Jolene just dropped a bomb on me that i'll also be participating in it. Adeline and Sherwin will probably be joining us too and i can't wait to play together as a team again! And all expenses are paid for by her company yay HAHAHA.
Had brunch with my parents at Pek Kio Hawker Centre before my dad drove me to RELC Building for my meeting with the IDP education councillor. Filled in my applications and i hope that gets settled as soon as possible so i can move onto the next step of my preparation to fly off. Made my way back on bus and watched Running Man before i left for basketball at Buangkok (Melvin's house). Walked over there like a healthy kid and i was the first to take attendance HAHAHA. Yide (Yijie's younger brother) joined us that day too. He's quite cute HAHAHA. Did horrible shots that day even though i had more interceptions than usual. Hate that bouncy rim but i guess it's good shooting training. Time for more shooting sessions there HAHAHA. Walked over to Hougang Mall for dinner at Macdonald's which i didn't eat because i was too lazy to wash my hands. Good excuse isn't it HAHAHA. Bumped into Pengwai and Desmond over there, or rather they bumped into us separately and we chatted a little before i walked home afterwards.
Feels amazing walking outside at night. It makes me relax, appreciate every single thing around me. Even though i was walking alone. Or maybe it was because i was walking alone that it felt even more calming. I should really do that more often.
So i had insomnia through the night but i managed to catch two short naps in the morning. Went over to Hougang Mall with my mum for lunch at the Kopitiam. Love the 麻辣 thing that you choose your ingredients and they cook it for you, even though it's a little bit pricey. As usual, we popped by Japan Home because it's her favourite shop and i ended up buying stickers like a little kid. Now i feel obliged to make cards HAHAHA. Nice reason.
Anyway, tomorrow's schedule is MOHH pre-camp briefing followed by dessert with Joel at City Hall area. Don't even know why i'm so busy even when i'm not working. Too much social life. But no complains, i love my friends. Have a good dinner everyone!
