So Tuesday was just a nua day for me at home. I can't remember what i was doing other than Running Man, cartoons, using the computer and nuaing. Typical routine of a no-lifer but no-lifer days are good. Finally got myself to do some core exercises and my non-existent abs were kinda aching the next day yay! Been all rainy days recently too because i wanted to reward myself with a red velvet mcflurry after toning a little but it poured while i was bathing so plan was scraped.
Wednesday was swimming day with Mal and Esther. Yes swimming, me swimming in a swimming pool. That is of course, after our yummy Khon Thai lunch. I swam a total of 5 laps yay i am proud of myself already HAHAHA. Jiejie can swim better than before now, i guess. Maybe i should force myself to go swimming more frequently to get the hang of it and finally swim at least half a lap at one go?! HAHAHA i'm a noob, breathing is too hard. Showered and got ready before we went over to town to meet Shana.
So we tried the new hype at $7.90 but it was so meh though i loved the speculous sauce. Egglet's pretty crunchy and nice too! But i don't think it's worth it. Am i becoming a pseudo food critic HAHAHA.
And here are my lovely girls
Sidetrack: I'm munching on sandwich tofus while writing this
Met the netball girls for dinner at Sushi express. Yay for sushi! Much thanks to Adeline (for the matcha redondo christmas present too) that we have discounts from her colleagues because she works there. So kind of them. Some of them had llaollao but i was a fat kid so i didn't. Rebecca left while we went over to Wisma for Sherwin when she ended her babysitting job. And then the other half had llaollao HAHAHA. Sherwin bought us Paris Baguette but we were all too full in the end to finish up the pastries. But it was sweet!
Here we are at Paris Baguette
Thursday was a tour at the construction site of the upcoming Sengkang General Hospital. It was really interesting because we had to wear the vest, boots and helmet like a regular construction worker and we had the chance to walk around the site while work was taking place! Especially since i just watched a channel 8 variety show (which i can't remember the name) about insights on less known jobs and the episode happened to be about construction workers too. Feels like i was attending the variety show HAHAHA. Appreciative of the hard work from the people involved in the making of buildings to the tiny details like tying wires around metal poles to stabilise them. Gained some general knowledge too! It was fun and good to see familiar faces again.

And right before we separated outside the construction site
Applied for my visa on Friday morning at IDP with my mum. Just need to settle my health check and i'm done with that. Although i'm all independent-looking and all that, the thought of going over to settle down kinda intimidates me knowing that i have not much clue on how things are going to be, sad about leaving my mum back in Singapore and i'm going to miss Shuhui like mad but i'm also kinda excited about starting a new life there away from the usual stresses. I can do this! And it will definitely be rewarding.
I gained weight again damn. I gonna give up trying so hard to be skinny soon HAHAHA. But i was feeling fat so i did 300 squats at home yesterday. It's weird how my form is better when i do squats with dumbbells and the ones i do at home just makes my back ache like mad. And it still aches when i bend. Or am i just old? HAHAHA.
So i was up early this morning to attend POP for some of the guys. Took the train over with Guanghan and we met Justin at the floating platform seats. Didn't manage to find everyone because there were too many people but it was good seeing them.
Ironically, the first guy i met (or rather he found me) wasn't passing out HAHAHA. But this guy is like my long lost friend for 10 years already. We used to try to outwit each other while arguing during tuition classes in primary school but he's kinda like family because we've known each other for so long. So glad to see him again!
Here is Baojie who was the first one i looked for. Took me probably a good 10 minutes circling around 3rd coy HAHAHA. Glad we're still close after OMA. And featuring Syahmi in the wefie on the right.
Private Joel Chan who stays a couple of blocks away from me. Do i feel safer now? No. HAHAHA. Had a hard time finding him too because the reception was pretty bad (i guess it's because everyone was making phone calls)
Damn i can't call him recruit anymore HAHAHA but i've known this guy for 7 years already, amazing when you start counting numbers. Black and skinny now.
According to Guanghan, from left to right. Civilian, civilian, private, civilian, officer. (He just wants to show off that he ORD-ed HAHAHA)
Took the train back with Justin, went home to change and headed to the gym. Did my usuals but nothing more because i was so tired from waking up early in the morning. I totally crashed when i went home HAHAHA but now i'm awake and blogging although i'm still tired. All is well. Have a good Sunday ahead guys! Life's all great.
