X.

Capture your smile,
Hahaha hello. If you're reading this, i assume you already know me well enough so i guess i don't have to say anything here. But well, if not, you should at least know my name. It's Shiyun.
Yes yes i know i'm late for my blog post again. But then again, i was back in Singapore so i should be enjoying life and all right? HAHAHA.

Well, the two days before i flew back, Wednesday was pretty much just attempting to do some work but obviously i failed and obviously i couldn't do anything during my course of stay back at home in Singapore. Thursday was probably the more productive day where i woke up early for laundry and then classes and then packing up and then going over to Mal's house for dinner before she and Joyce dropped me at the airport. Too nice of them!

So here i am blogging on my sofa bed just like old times on my last day in Singapore for the next two months.

Me and my cutie niece before i went out on Sunday. (But she's getting naughtier)

Monday was an afternoon spent at home before meeting Shana and Esther at Angmokio for dinner. Wanted to try the new Salted Egg Fish & Chips hype but the queue was too long so we settled for somewhere else. We had cakes too, at Pine Tree Bakery or something, i didn't pay attention to the name. We tried their kyoho grapes/white chocolate swiss roll, sea salt caramel roll, pulut hitam cake and lychee martini cake. Love the caramel and lychee one! Am i falling in love with cakes now HAHAHA. Good to see the girls again, if only Mal was here with us too. And bus ride back with Shana was too short HAHAHA we need more time together man.

Claim my kisses again 2 months later

Tuesday was the day i finally cut my fringe yay!

This is how i look now HAHAHA

Brought my mum to IKEA to try the salmon lasagna BUT GUESS WHAT they decided to abandon me and change the menu so we ended up have fish/chicken with rice and some chicken wings. Oh and i found out IKEA has good coffee though, totally worth that 50cents, and it's refillable! Visited Giant across the road too because i had to replace the pan that got confiscated at the airport. Like come on, i don't even know why they didn't allow my pan. And it costs $50. I spend more money on stupid mistakes than anything else in life man. (Just like how i had to fix my stupid phone because i SHATTERED the back glass)

I know my hair looks retarded here and i know the photo is blur but tada here is my cousin

Had dinner at my grandparents' place and they made my favourite dougan yay! Dougan is life. Precious family time right there on Tuesday night.

Wednesday was also a nua day at home. I can barely remember what i did actually HAHAHA am i a noob yes i am. Went out to Kovan to meet these two for dinner!

Mall was closing so we didn't get judged (i think)

And this was a self-timed selfie with my phone against a biscuit tin on one of the closed shopping carts HAHAHA. We ate at the bakkutteh shop before we had icecream at Ice Edge Cafe. Wanted to have Hatter Street instead but they were away on a short trip. Unlucky us HAHAHA. But these guys, they're family. So glad they're the same after all these years and we remained just as close to each other despite not meeting often. Love you two! (and we enjoy bitching each other too HAHAHA)

Decided to visit Ngee Ann on Thursday since they were having CCA fiesta so i met up with Yangrui and Angel to have lunch at Makan Place. Kaki Fuyong still as good HAHAHA and they have this 幸福奶茶 now HAHAHA which is just teh bing ice blended. Met some of my other netball juniors there too! Feel so old when i see all the young kids there though.

You guys will always be my little kids

I feel like their mama HAHAHA. Saw Jiaxin and Denise at the netball booth too! So since Yang, Angel and I are all alumni, we were just going around doing things like getting a helium balloon and playing UNO stacko HAHAHA. Intense game i swear. Since the sports deck was free, we played a random short 3v3 match too HAHAHA totally regret after perspiring because of my attire (refer to picture on top).I met John for tea break at Poolside for a short catchup. Damn thankful that John is always so concerned about the life of his students.

Friday was KBBQ day with Yihui and Shuhui at Nex! So lucky to be able to meet Yihui because he just returned from Japan on Thursday night and he got Shuhui and me some Tokyo bananas and Sakura matcha kitkat HAHAHA.

I forgot to take a group shot but this shot is explanatory of our experience

Yay for the exhaust so my hair doesn't smell so much like barbecue HAHAHA.

Meet Kitkat

Here i am back in Perth and back to the load of assignments and upcoming tests. So thankful for Mal who woke up early and drove all the way to the airport to fetch me. She eases my homesickness because she's my bit of home in Perth. We had Mcdonald's hotcakes for breakfast and we just cooked mushroom cream fusilli with pan fried salmon for lunch. I swear her salmon was yumz, she's Master Chef Tan.

Can't wait to get the semester over and done with.

Have a good week ahead everyone! May life go well for all of you!
