Last Friday was a usual gym day in school followed by fish and chips and laundry.
Mal, Joyce and Charmaine came over to pick me up on Saturday to have brunch out after their blood test. We went to Sixteen Ounces in Victoria Park and their Eggs Benedict was really yumz (but of course, Shark Bay's still number 1 in my heart and stomach).
Hollandaise sauce, poached eggs, spinach, bacon, bread | Pokemon Go-ers
So as you can see from the picture on the right, my lovely friends brought me to Kings Park not to enjoy the scenery, not to spaz at cute dogs and pretty flowers, but to catch Pokemon. I need new friends LOL.
Ever thankful for Mal for adopting me every weekend and driving me back home all the time. My comfort zone in Australia is limited to a 5 meter radius around her HAHAHA. Had dinner back at home on Sunday and since Javier was streaming Man Utd's match, i got to watch my first Man Utd match in many years. I'm still pretty much stuck at the 2006 line up.
Monday was usual Running Man day at home with no school. Second grading game for netball and we drew that match too. We managed to get into division 2 this time round! It's a great improvement from last semester, considering that we were last of the last division (division 3) and as Carly said, "We literally can't get any worse" HAHAHA.
Tuesday was school day with KV netball at night. We won that match and we also moved up one division from last semester HAHAHA. I guess it's a good start and i hope it gets better!
Wednesday was a short day in school. Gary and I went over to Carousel for lunch together before i got my number ported to Optus and he grabbed some stuff. Finally got the number porting done, yay for data rollover!
Thursday was well, a long day cut short thanks to my crazy menstrual cramps again. Thank heavens it started near noon so i didn't die and roll around on the ground on my way back home from school. Didn't really take a nap apart from drifting in and out of sleep when i was in pain. But yea. it was pretty much a day wasted doing nothing but suffering from my grumpy uterus. Oh well, life.
Friday was gym day in the morning with Fiona before doing my laundry back at home. Settled my chores and went on my way to Mal's house for my weekly weekend stayover. We had aglio olio for dinner by yours truly but oops, i was a little too generous with the chilli flakes. I kinda love making aglio olio now HAHAHA cause it's easy.
Saturday was and early day out for the three girls to get their vaccines. My sole purpose there was to sit and laugh at Mal (which i did) and video down the whole process (which i did too) HAHAHA. We picked Kim up at her hostel before driving down to the Subiaco Farmers Market for brunch. Their crepes and soup and donuts were so yumz i should totally go back there again. I have no idea why, but some Pokemon Go addict (most likely Malvina Tan Chiu Ping) suggested for us to visit Kings Park to catch pokemon and so we did. Funniest part is that when i voiced out about how embarrassed i was with them, a father with his son responded saying he was embarrassed too HAHAHA. Pokemon craze is real.
After sending Kim back home, we went down to Cat Haven to visit the cats up for adoption. How i wished i could get one too. Guess i got to wait 4 years and more before i can get a pet of my own. I miss playing with Oreo already (my Singapore void deck cat that i claim to be mine). We went home briefly to grab our things before heading over to Pearlyn's place to visit Kitkat. He's grown so big and he's still as mischievous as ever. Managed to do some notes even with his disturbance every now and then HAHAHA.
This is pretty much how Mal looked when OTHERS were having their jabs (imagine when it was her turn HAHAHA) | Because good lighting calls for a vainpot selfie
And say hi to Kitkat! He's alot darker than the picture, but the photo was too dark so i made him super bright oops.
So here i am back at home on a Sunday night. Had my smoked salmon wrap for dinner and now i'm just blogging to catch up with life before i continue doing my work because i've been such a lazy ass. No motivation to study at all this semester, what do i do?
Quarter life crisis is so real. Mal and i are having quarter life crisis conversations almost everyday, worrying about the future and everything ahead. So many problems to deal with, can i not be an adult? When i was in primary school, i would look at the junior college students and think that "Wow, they must have so much drive, doing well in life and following a path to success" sort of thing but when i got to secondary school, i realised JC kids are probably still in a blur and things like that. Then, i looked at the university students and get amazed at how they managed to enrol and how they're working for a career ahead of them. Now, here i am, studying in a university that i never expected to be in another country, and still knowing almost nothing about life. Struggles continue every single day but the fact that i know of people having it worse puts me at shame. I'll be fine. We'll all be fine.
Let's keep going.
