Capture your smile,
Hahaha hello. If you're reading this, i assume you already know me well enough so i guess i don't have to say anything here. But well, if not, you should at least know my name. It's Shiyun.
Hey guys. I'm finally back after 3 weeks. Could have updated my blog earlier after i returned from my Bali placement but my brother returned my laptop charger to his friend instead of the correct one and i only got it back this morning so here i am. As usual, i'll talk about the Bali placement on a separate post since it's sort of a trip.

Caught The Great Wall at City Square Mall with Eugene on 3rd January after having Paddington's for dinner. It had been a long time since we last met prior to that day so it was a good catch up night for us! Had sushi express for dinner with Shana and Mal on 4th January at Tampines too! Their giant scallops are now in season but sadly they're limited to only one plate per person. It was super yumz though i want to have more! We chilled at Starbucks for the night while Shana attempted to revise for her insurance exam. Even though we disturbed her studying, she passed on her first try yay! :)

Met Angel at NP for early dinner before the friendly match with the competitive team on 5th January. Adeline, Jolene and Sherwin came for training that day too! So good to be back on court with them. I guess we're all getting old because the few games we played totally drained me of my life hahaha. Still want more netball though. 6th January was steamboat night with the girls at Sherwin's place. After several years, we finally have a better grasp of amount of food to buy and got it just about right this time. Sherwin has a new puppy too! Well, not so much a puppy but still kinda a puppy. Typical gathering at Sherwin's place involved our typical activities such as cuddling with animals, playing mahjong and quiplash/psych.

Angel and Yilong joined us this time!

Then off i went to Bali from 7th January to 15th January.

Headed to the gym on Monday to do arms on my own because i felt guilty for not exercising for the whole 9 days in Bali. I like the gym, it keeps me calm, it stops my thoughts, it makes me feel at peace and at ease.

Mal picked Shana and i up early in the morning to have Mcbreakfast together before we made an impromptu decision to visit Coney Island. Weather forecast predicted scattered thunderstorms but we went ahead because the skies seemed clear and i'm glad we did. We rented our bikes and got on our way exploring the island with multiple photostops in between HAHAHA. We were such a joke, good thing there weren't many people around.

Hipster shot

You have no idea how many shots we had to take to get the photo on the right

Thankful to be surrounded with cute people in my life

Our lunch plan failed a few times and we ended up at Lola's cafe in the afternoon after our so-called workout HAHAHA. Paid Shana's dogs a visit before Mal sent me home! Thanks for driving us around that day!

Joyce and Mal came to pick me up at Ubi after my driving lesson on Wednesday afternoon to go over to Jurong for Yoogane lunch with Charmaine. We had a petitllao each post-lunch too. I think i'm dealing with the memories and the images well in my head. Caught a movie before Joyce sent us home! Thank you for driving us! Went all the way from Choa Chu Kang to Swee Choon for dinner before heading home that night. Dimsum was good!

Mal picked me from home on Thursday morning for a traditional breakfast near my place. Stupid me took out my eggs too early HAHAHA they were barely cooked. We had some dumplings too because we are fat pigs. Went back to her place to nua a little before we walked over to the gym to burn some calories. Sushi express lunch was yumz! We had giant scallops, a baby scallop sushi, saba fish, shellfish thing, 3 plates of sashimi each, a hanamaki each and a plate of fake abalone. It's so good to have friends that enjoy the same type of food! She helped me dye my hair using Liese (she's my annual hairdresser, pretty professional, clipping my hair with clothespeg HAHAHA) before we wasted our lives doing nothing nuaing around at her place. Thanks for always allowing me to visit your house like a salon!

Friday afternoon was spent at Woodlands CC playing badminton with Jieni and Frank. Took us close to two years to schedule this session HAHAHA. Uber-ed down because i left the house too late and the Uber driver was quite sweet, asking me to be careful when i get off the car because its Uberpool and i'm sitting on the outside if that made sense. Little things that make me happy. Had to rush off after 2 hours for dinner, felt so bad that i couldn't stay longer. It was still refreshing to play badminton again after such a long time! I can feel my right forearm aching now, and it has a visible difference when put beside my left arm HAHAHA.

Craving for 18 Chefs satisfied at The Cathay with Ruiling that night. Sinful cheese but yummy cheese heheheh. Shopped around a little and now i'm in the shopping mood HAHAHA. Cotton on jeggings are $18 now because of their sale, i should totally get a pair or two when i'm not too lazy to head out. Thankful for everyone who made time amidst their busy schedules to meet up and spend some time together :)

Had driving in the morning yesterday and ate kimchi ramen for lunch at Hougang Mall with my mum. Made my way to Serangoon Gardens to meet the guys for dinner! It was a calories overload night. We had Fat Boys for dinner, Wimbly Lu for dessert and Tachinomiya for drinks. Good to be around these guys and i'm glad our attendance is pretty good recently! I guess attendance and frequency is kinda inversely proportional? HAHAHA.

Sacrificed my face to be fat right in front

Today was another driving day in the circuit. Less scolding this time yay or maybe my instructor was just too tired to scold me today. Poor uncle seems sick :( Well i hope he recovers soon.

Now i'm nuaing in my usual position on the sofa bed. I update on the Bali trip again soon! This post is to let you guys know i'm still alive and not dead HAHAHA.

I will be okay.
