X.

Capture your smile,
Hahaha hello. If you're reading this, i assume you already know me well enough so i guess i don't have to say anything here. But well, if not, you should at least know my name. It's Shiyun.
I'm hiding in my room now instead of heading to the gym because it's raining and it's a perfect excuse to stay under shelter - at home. I haven't been blogging for awhile again so here goes my usual update about life. Gonna be pretty busy again. I think i'm really getting older, it tires me out alot when i go out these days.

I don't remember a single thing i've done after the last time i posted HAHAHA. Trying to retrieve information from Twitter and Whatsapp conversations LOL. 23rd January, i really have no idea at all. 24th January was a night out with mama eating sushi express at Nex before visiting Daiso at Punggol Waterway. I know that because i tweeted that i left my swiss roll in the fridge on 25th January morning.

So after i had my swiss roll breakfast on 25th January morning, i made my way down to Bedok to try out gymbox with Adam. They gave us fortune scratchcards on entry HAHAHA. I guess it's kinda nice there? With never before seen machines and for the first time finding my dumbbells on the small rack. It makes me feel small HAHAHA. Borrowed his house for a shower before he drove us to Tiong Bahru Plaza to try Doodles! Motorbike rides are fun! I like them HAHAHA. Doodles was like a salad bar but with noodles as the base instead of the usual greens. They dont have seats in the shop so we ended up eating it in the Kopitiam LOL. We're cute friends. I took the train home instead because it started pouring and i still feel guilty for abandoning him in the rain.

Had the SHS Australia AGM on 26th January at Little Monkeys Cafe followed by dinner in a cafe nearby, can't remember its name though. It was refreshing to meet all the juniors waiting to start a new journey overseas! I feel so excited for them just like i was myself a year ago. Can't wait to see more familiar faces around school and in Perth!

Spot me

27th January was eve of CNY. Steamboat at my grandma's house as always in my super nua clothes HAHAHA. Food was good, food is always good. 28th January was Chu 1 with the usual visiting up till evening time. It was also my once a year vegetarian day HAHAHA. I like certain vegetarian food though, i just find it inconvenient especially since i can't cook anything with garlic.

Cousin tied my hair! She's really good with hairstyling

Selftimer

I wonder how many shots we took that time

29th January was Chu 2. Gathering at my grandma's place in the afternoon with non-vegetarian food HAHAHA. Which means i didn't have to be cautious about the CNY goodies i eat yay. Headed back home to rest a little (because insomnia what's new) while waiting for the Yeswecan peeps to arrive. For the first time in i don't know how many years, Rebecca was the first to arrive HAHAHA. And finally, Zonghan is not in Malaysia when we have our annual gathering yay. It was also the first year that i actually joined in the gambling. Am i not that much of a good girl anymore? HAHAHA. Tradition of horror movie carried on and i'm just happy to have their company even though we only meet once a year. We really should meet more often than that. Here's the family i've known since our Singapore Book of Records project in 2010:

Family portait heheheh

Also featuring my cousin's kid that refused to take a photo with me HAHAHA super duper cute i swear

I don't remember what i did on Chu 3 either but i'm pretty sure i was nuaing at home being a potato. 31st January was spent at the gym and i can't remember whether i did anything else productive that day HAHAHA.

1st February was a long day out. Met Javier and Gary for lunch at Arbite Cafe to mini celebrate Javier's 24th HAHAHA. Thankful that Gary drove us there and back! The food at Arbite was pretty good too, i think i'll go back again when i'm really hungry, the portions are pretty big.

That's some durian dessert. Tasted good!

Got home for a short rest before i went over to Ang Mo Kio for dinner with Shana and Mal! 18 Chefs still the best budget meal and i still love the sambal cheese fries even though it keeps getting downsized LOL. Grabbed some stuff that Shana needed (including a random broom HAHAHA) and Mal drove us back home. Thankful that she always drives us around even though she's already so tired from work!

Had driving lesson on the morning of 2 Feb. Still dislike changing lanes hahaha. I really hope i pass on my first try so i don't have to spend money coming back in April. Met Jeff and Rebecca at Somerset for dinner at Scape and coffee at Starbucks. Starbucks cheated me of my 1-for-1 i'm so sad :( no more starbucks it is.

We caught the red lights

But the security guard caught us at green

Met Shuhui on Friday morning and dropped him off at town before i continued riding my uber to Jurong for mala lunch with Jieni and Frank. We had bingsu after that too! And it was a good catchup chatting about random things. Got home and managed to get some rest and a nap before heading over to Shana's place to hangout for awhile. Her house was practically a gambling den HAHAHA thanks for feeding me sashimi because i didn't eat dinner! Super thankful that Mal still dropped me back home even though she has had 4 straight days of work and it was close to 1am already.

Most of Saturday was spent playing basketball with the sec5s at 918. Got sunburnt since i was on court from 11.30am to 4pm and i like my sunkissed shade blusher HAHAHA. Been such a long time since we spent that many hours playing basketball even though we take much longer breaks now. We're all old. Speaking of being old, we played with some 15 year olds that day too. I still can't get over the fact that i'm 7 years older than them and how much more stamina we had ourselves 7 years ago HAHAHA. It started pouring super heavily so we left the court. We've learnt our lesson after being stuck under the pathetic shelter that floods when it rains over the years of playing basketball. Ran across the road to get back home and made myself a nice warm bowl of curry noodles. Noodles + cold weather is the best combination ever. Told my mum i wanted only finger food for dinner but i ended up eating KFC with my brother. So much for trying to be fit and healthy.

Sunday was a day out with my mum. We had mala for lunch at Hougang Mall with my dad before he drove us over to the temple at Waterloo Street. I can eat mala everyday heheh. Went back to Nex and borrowed some comics from the library. Yay for comics! Got home and we cooked aglio olio for dinner that day.

Went back to NP yesterday to have lunch with Dr Grace and the girls. It was good catching up with Dr Grace but she's still as stressed as ever. The juniors sound worrying though LOL. Oh well. Kaki fuyong and milktea were as yummy as always! Accompanied Mal to her dental appointment at Bugis and i'm pretty sure i was like her mama telling the dentist about her wisdom tooth problem when she didn't know how to complete her sentences HAHAHA. Always enjoy quality time doing nothing with these girls. Felt fat so i pulled myself out of the house and went for a jog yesternight too. My GPS went mad and said i ran 2km in 2 mins so i gave up and ran by timing instead. So i jogged for 50 minutes straight but i'm not really sure about the distance. Even if it's short, still clocked my longest run! I'm satisfied HAHAHA.

Visited the temple today and came home to Running Man. Wanted to head over to the gym but it started pouring really bad so i chose the fat life instead. Now i'm really fat. I hope i'm motivated enough to make myself exercise tomorrow HAHAHA.

I'll try to be on time with my weekly update next time! Have a good week everyone! :)
I will be strong and i will be happy. I can feel myself recovering and i'm sure i will find someone to take care and dote on me like i deserve.
