X.

Capture your smile,
Hahaha hello. If you're reading this, i assume you already know me well enough so i guess i don't have to say anything here. But well, if not, you should at least know my name. It's Shiyun.
Hello world! I'm finally getting more me time again. I know it hasn't even been a week since i last blogged but I just wanted to type up some thoughts before i head to bed.

Finished EHD presentation today, so this semester's only left with patho project and exams. Yay! This semester has gone by the quickest so far. Scary how time passes by so fast. Got to remember to treasure the time i have studying here in Perth! I'll definitely miss these days after i graduate. Till then, to continue being a hardworking kid for uni.

Both my netball teams got into semi-finals! Excited yet a little nervous at the same time. I do hope that we get into the finals and win the division because i want the free t-shirt HAHAHA. But okay on a serious note, it's been such a good experience playing with these two new teams and i'm glad that the new group dynamics have helped me improved as a player! And i've been running more games as a Center which is kinda good i guess? To burn fats HAHAHA. Have i been talking about netball too much lately? Oh well, i really do enjoy netball.

Didn't really do much the past few days apart from school and being at home. Oh Mal and I walked over to Dome yesterday for some coffee. It was just down the road, about 5 minutes away. Side note, i need to stop taking so much coffee. Anyway, the Dome by the waters has a really nice view! (sorry i'm not that good with descriptions so i only use vocab like good and nice HAHAHA) Ambience was good in the afternoon so i believe that it would be even better in the evening, especially since it's facing the direction of the sunset. I should head down there someday and chill a little. We did some exploring and tried to make friends with duckies but obviously we couldn't quack well enough so we failed HAHAHA. Found Morning Glory vines and Lavender shrubs as toxic plants for Mal's project too. Seems like I'll get to grab some coffee from Dome again when we head out to pluck some samples.

Today, we (which means Mal, Joyce and me) decided to head out for some Nene Chicken at Cockburn for dinner. Feeling fat now but i guess they're happy fats HAHAHA. Made an impromptu decision to stargaze at this zigzag road (i can't remember the exact name) and we got to see some stars. Could have had more if it wasn't so cloudy tonight. The area had quite a bit of light pollution from the city since it was on higher ground. But still, it finally feels that we're in another country. Missing Shark Bay and Rottnest Island where i saw the milky way though. Someday i'll catch it again!

My insomnia's been haunting me for the past one week and i have no idea why. I haven't had it for a long time though. Overactive mind can't shut up, all the random thoughts keeping me up late into the night. Oh well, i hope Brooklyn can discharge from our toilet soon so she can sleep with me again! Maybe that will help! And in case you were wondering, she's temporarily living in the toilet because she's on eardrops and a strict diet. This greedy little shit (not sure whether i have a pig or a cat as a pet) loves to steal all the other cats' food. She's also a little shit whenever she's on medication because she will pee on my bed to express her disapproval and unhappiness. After washing my bed 6 times and waking up to her peeing all over my legs on the last time, i'm not going to take the risk anymore HAHAHA. Naughty as she is, she's still super adorable!

I wanted to put pictures of Brooklyn but i realised i've posted all that i've got so here's Jeng making friends with her HAHAHA.

Tomorrow is another day at service learning. Second last session before we have to conclude the whole program with our client. Though it takes up the whole of my friday afternoons, i'm going to miss spending time with her, be it feeding ducks or playing monopoly. It was always a good stress-relief from schoolwork. Hope she takes it well too!

And before i end off this blog post. Mal wants me to promote her HAHAHA so tadah.

Most glam photo i have of us

Selling my very single and available friend on the right. A hardworking vet-to-be! She loves cleaning a house (loves it a little too much sometimes i think she's crazy) and can cook nice pratas (we call her the prata master at home). Super fun to be with, a little silly at times (in a good way) and always happy (she'll be the sunshine of your life). She's cute isn't she! Contact me through anywhere if you're interested HAHAHA. Feed her bacon and she's yours HAHAHA.

I should really head to bed soon while i'm feeling tired now before i get over the tired phase and get insomnia again. Have a good weekend ahead everyone! Hope everyone gets their daily dose of happiness and stay happy! And i'm happy too!
