4th December: Met Peihao after his last exam and accompanied him to his physiotherapy session! Coincidentally met Matthew and Zhaoqin there (well they're working there already HAHAHA) too! Actually i always coincidentally bump into my friends when i'm out with Peihao because i saw Shiqi and Joel as well on that day. Settled our holiday plans back at his place before we made our way to town to hunt for Xinmei's present (which was a fail by the way). He tried Shiok Maki for the first time! Oops stealing all his first-times hehe. Walked around to look at the Christmas lights along Orchard Road but no wow factor though. Still pretty in the dark night so no complains hehe.
Yay for quality time!
5th December: Mostly a stay home day, Aunt came over to cook yong tau foo and my grandparents joined us as well. I love family time. Thankful that my Aunt dotes on me so much! And of course the yong tau foo was yummy, homecooked food is always the best.
6th December: Watched the Mission Food Netball competition with Ruiling and lucky lucky us, the lineup of the matches that day were coincidentally comparative to watching the finals. I wouldn't say it sparked my passion for netball because that's always there, but it certainly brought it up many notches when i was sitting in the stadium. It was amazing watching Cook Islands, Swaziland, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Ireland play. My new favourite player is the shooter from Cook Islands, Alanna Matamaru Smith. So pretty and so skilled. If only i was half like her HAHAHA. We had Astons for dinner before we headed home. So happy to be able to watch some good netball matches! And thankful for Ruiling's company that day!
7th December: Tried the prata at The Rail Mall (which we found out wasn't our idea of a mall) with Jieni and i think we ate a little too much HAHAHA oh well. Visited the abandoned railway which was pretty underwhelming considering that i expected to trek a little before i reached it but that was that. At least i've seen it now. We were pretty bored and we didn't know what to do so we decided to disturb Eugene who just had his last paper on that day as well and we all caught up on life at Mcdonald's. We wanted Blackball or something but everything closed in Clementi so we settled for Mac HAHAHA.
So.. what you see is what you get. Literally. That's all there is.
8th December: Peihao had a rented car for a day so we went around driving yay! Good practice for novice drivers like us and we got through the day without a problem HAHAHA (even though we missed the roads quite a few times but that just means more practice which is good right hehe). We had yummy chicken rice near Beauty World for lunch, visited Xiaoguilin, chilled at Henderson Waves and had Thai food for dinner back at Hougang. Thai food was pretty good though yay for yummy thai near my place! He stayed the night and drove me over to Bras Basah for carolling practice the next morning.
It's quite nice HAHAHA to me at least
Meddling with the GoPro
We are good drivers hehe
Tried to hide the phone but failed HAHAHA
9th December: Yup so it's carolling practice in the morning with Ashleigh, Matthew and Amy. Can't sing but oh well, glad i didn't break any glass at SMU and nobody went deaf. Headed to the gym for a short workout before meeting Zoey and Yuefeng for dessert, Paddington 2 and sushi express for dinner (talking about this makes me crave sushi express again LOL). Always a good time spent with them, and always an expensive food day with them as well HAHAHA we need to stop spending money on food we're terrible pigs.
10th December: Finally got to play basketball again!! And we had enough people that day can you sense my happiness. So there was Jeff, Eric, Kai Ding, Shi Wei, his brother (Shi Yong) then Jordan and Jin Hong appeared too. Super satisfying to get in the game again. Had lunch with mama Goh and rested at home for awhile before Dad sent me over to Xinmei's 21st birthday at Changi. Good to see Xinmei again after so long!! And it was good seeing Emily and Cherry as well and it was good talking to new people and making new friends at the party too HAHAHA okay that sentence had too many 'and's. Joshua was really nice and he dropped me off at Bedok afterwards so i had a straight bus home yay.
11th December: Had mala (yesss) for lunch with my parents and my niece before heading to Ngee Ann to be an actress for a day HAHAHA. John is conducting a practical assessment for his psychology students on counselling and i got the chance to act as a client. It was a really interesting experience and i enjoyed it very much! A little tiring but all was good. Had dinner with John at Temasek Club again and they do have pretty decent food there.
So that was that until i flew off to Yogyakarta! Update again about the trip with pictures when i get them from Peihao hehe. Have a good week ahead everyone!
